The
idea of the BULDOâ bubble float was born in
the mind of Mr. Jean GRIZAUD, skilled trout fisher, about 60 years ago.
Indeed, having observed the air bubbles on the surface of torrents, he got obsessed by the
idea of manufacturing those bubbles that the fish would confound with the real ones.
After many trials and experiments, the day after armistice, he finally could take out a
patent for his invention : the BULDOâ
float was born.
In order to complete his product range, the company sarl Jean GRIZAUD came together with
the company sarl BONNAND within a same group.
Created in 1903, BONNAND is a specialist in plastic fishing articles, complementary to the
BULDOâ floats. They offer products such as
bait buckets, tackle boxes, baskets, floats...
Both, BULDOâ and BONNANDâ
brand products are, today, manufactured in La Sône, in the South of France, and are sold
in more than 26 countries in the world.
